Young doctors find huge neurology opportunities
New treatments for previously untreatable conditions mean significant career advances for young doctors entering neurology now. Prof Norman Delanty, President of the Irish Neurological Association, told doctors at their 2026 meeting that new techniques are transforming care. Roughly 43% of global disease is neurological, and the first gene therapy for severe epilepsy is nearing.
