A yellow cold weather alert affecting most of England has been issued by the country's health protection agency. Aside from the capital and southeastern areas, the warning is in effect from Tuesday night until 6:00 PM on Friday. Forecasters predict freezing conditions and potential snow, which may increase pressure on social care and health services while creating greater risks for vulnerable residents across the affected regions.
