Xi's Pyongyang trip: After Trump, Putin meetings

Fresh talks between regional leaders could affect efforts to restart discussions over North Korea’s nuclear programme. Reports on Thursday said Xi Jinping may travel to Pyongyang next week after recent meetings with Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Beijing. Yonhap cited a senior South Korean official, while separate sources said Chinese security and protocol teams had already visited the North Korean capital.
