Xi Says China and US Should Cooperate

Better ties between China and the United States could affect global relations and trade. Speaking before talks with Donald Trump in Beijing, Xi Jinping said both countries gain through cooperation and lose through conflict, adding they should support each other’s success. He also said he wants 2026 to become a “historic” year for relations between the two nations.
