Women miss out on AI's highest paying jobs, study finds
Women accounted for just 26% of new AI hires in the US last year, compared with half of hires in non-AI roles, according to new LinkedIn research. They hold only 13.3% of C-suite AI positions at AI companies across 27 countries, even though typical AI jobs pay more than double the average non-AI salary. The most balanced AI role, data annotation, is also among the lowest paid.
