Who pays tax when AI replaces UK workers

British public services could face a funding crisis as AI quietly chips away at the payslips that fund them. Monzo founder Tom Blomfield warns income tax could be obsolete within five years, replaced by levies on data centres. Entry-level job adverts are already down 35% since November 2022.
