Disadvantaged white boys in England are the group most likely to leave school without a job, training or further study, according to new Department for Education figures. The data shows 21.3% did not have a sustained destination after Year 11, more than double the rate among black peers. Disadvantaged white girls also fared badly at 18.6%, prompting calls from MPs for targeted help in schools.
