Where can you no longer use a hosepipe?
Across most of southern England: Thames Water's ban on 10.1 million customers took effect on Thursday, the largest of eight now in force. South East Water extended its restrictions to Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire on Saturday, adding to Kent. Welsh Water covers 33,000 west Wales properties. England and Wales had their driest spring on record. Breaches can cost up to £1,000.
