What makes a London ruling bind 166 countries?
A London High Court ruling covering all 166 WTO members ordered Wolfoo videos off every platform by 4pm BST on Monday. The judge ruled against Vietnamese studio Sconnect, finding Peppa Pig audio clips in all 92 English-language Wolfoo episodes examined and three-quarters of foreign-language versions. The court called the copying 'compelling', in a case Hasbro and Astley Baker Davies brought in 2022.
