British Museum apologises for Bayeux Tapestry visitor queues and makes changes
The British Museum's director, Nicholas Cullinan, has apologised for long queues at its Bayeux Tapestry exhibition, where some visitors waited two hours. New plans include longer opening hours, extra seating, and clearer signs to improve the visitor experience. About 100,000 visitors have seen the tapestry three weeks into its run, which costs £33 for peak adult tickets.
