Weymouth M&S town centre store closes after 92 years

Shoppers in Weymouth expressed sadness as the Marks & Spencer store on St Mary Street closed its doors for the last time on Tuesday, July 14, at 6pm. The town centre shop, which first opened in 1932, has been replaced by a new M&S superstore at Weymouth Gateway retail park. Officials are already in talks with other retailers to fill the empty site.
