Westminster City Council has apologised to Pimlico residents for its handling of brown, petrol-smelling tap water that affected Morgan House in April 2025. Residents felt "gaslit" by authorities and were forced to use bottled water for daily tasks due to concerns about health risks. The council has now promised a full investigation and comprehensive testing of all water supplies to ensure safety.
