West Ham United have sacked head coach Nuno Espirito Santo after a poor start to their Championship season. The Hammers, tipped for automatic promotion after relegation, sit eighth, six points behind leaders Middlesbrough, after back-to-back home defeats to Southampton and West Brom. His assistant and goalkeeping coach have also gone. Mark Noble, Steve Potts and Gerard Prenderville take temporary charge for Wednesday's trip to Cardiff.
