Wayve partners with UK Government on self-driving cars

The UK's self-driving car technology is set for significant advancement following a new government partnership. Self-driving company Wayve signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government to deepen collaboration and share research on automated vehicles. Business Secretary Peter Kyle said this backs high-growth British scale-ups, as Wayve plans London robotaxi trials in 2026.
