War criminal Ratko Mladić, the "Butcher of Bosnia", has died in prison

Ratko Mladić, known as the "Butcher of Bosnia" for his role in the 1990s Balkan wars, has died while in prison. BBC correspondent Allan Little met Mladić early in the Bosnian war, finding him dangerously fanatical. Forces under Mladić's command later committed mass murder and genocide, including at Srebrenica.
