Victrex cutting 10% of jobs after big loss

Many people will lose jobs as Victrex reduces its workforce. The Lancashire firm reported a £44 million loss before tax for the half-year to March, planning to cut a tenth of staff by 2026's third quarter. This large loss tied to a £60.6 million non-cash cost for a Chinese factory.
