Imported eggs linked to UK salmonella death, 34 hospitalised

At least 34 people have needed hospital treatment for the stomach bug, with victims ranging from infants to a 90-year-old. Britain's public health watchdog, the UK Health Security Agency, is working with European authorities to find the exact source of the contaminated shipments. The vast majority of the 207 confirmed infections happened in England, particularly across London and Yorkshire.
