US to cut Iran off from global economy after war failed

America’s new “Operation Economic Outcast” aims to disconnect Iran from the world economy and threaten sanctions against foreign businesses. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wants peace, but officials say more US pressure only makes them cling to their leverage. Iran is also threatening to block Gulf oil exports if its neighbours join Washington's economic campaign.
