US shoots down Iranian missiles aimed at Gulf bases

American forces have shot down Iranian ballistic missiles aimed at US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, stopping them from hitting their targets. US Central Command confirmed that six of seven missiles fired by Iran at the two Gulf states were intercepted by defence systems. Crucially, no American personnel were harmed in these attacks, which followed earlier US strikes.
