US regulators investigate Tesla Cybercabs missing steering wheels, pedals
Federal regulators are investigating if Tesla's new Cybercab robotaxis meet safety rules, just a day after the company launched them. The two-seat cars, which started providing rides in Austin, Texas, are missing the steering wheels and brake pedals. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will audit Tesla's self-certification process for the driverless taxis.
