France wants EU to restrict trade with Israeli settlements
France's Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot called on European countries to restrict their commercial dealings with unlawful Israeli settlements located in the occupied West Bank. Barrot compared this to the EU's 2014 ban on imports from Crimea after Russia's occupation. He additionally condemned what he termed "unprecedented explosion of violence" perpetrated by Israeli occupiers within the West Bank.
