US plans to cut military aid for Iraq's Kurdish forces, BBC told

The Trump administration is reportedly not extending an agreement that gives security assistance to the Peshmerga, Iraq's Kurdish security force. The aid, which included $61 million in 2026 for weapons and training, helped defeat Islamic State.
