US government makes cannabis a less dangerous drug
Patients may gain more medical treatment options and research opportunities following a big change for US drug policy. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche officially changed the classification of certain marijuana products, shifting them from Schedule I to Schedule III on Thursday. This order, given by President Trump in the past year, equates cannabis with Tylenol containing codeine, unlike its former status alongside heroin.
