US flags top EV maker BYD over alleged military ties
The US is warning American businesses about working with major Chinese companies like car maker BYD, saying they have alleged ties to China's military. The Pentagon added over 80 firms to its list, aiming to alert organisations to risks, though it doesn't mean immediate sanctions. China's embassy called the list 'discriminatory,' while BYD became the world's top EV maker this year.
