US carmakers want Chinese vehicles banned by January 2027
America's biggest car companies are pushing Congress to permanently ban Chinese-made vehicles, software, and hardware from the US market. The Alliance for Automotive Innovation wrote to House and Senate leaders on Thursday, citing concerns over unfair trade and intellectual property theft.
