UN chief Guterres urges AI regulation and an end to conflicts in General Assembly speech

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, speaking to the General Assembly for the final time on Tuesday, urged international regulation of AI risks. He also pressed world leaders to end conflicts, tackle climate change, and reform UN institutions. Guterres' second five-year term as Secretary-General ends on December 31.
