A Ukrainian delegation led by security council secretary Rustem Umerov is meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner in Florida Sunday to discuss peace proposals. The talks follow productive Geneva negotiations last week where a 28-point peace plan was refined to address Ukrainian concerns. These meetings occur amid Kyiv facing significant pressure from Washington for a peace agreement and during a political crisis following the resignation of Zelensky's chief of staff Andriy Yermak.
