UK sees 8% job losses due to AI adoption
A recent Morgan Stanley study indicates the UK is experiencing a greater net job loss due to AI implementation compared to the US, Japan, Germany, and Australia. While British businesses reported an 11.5% productivity increase with AI, they also experienced an 8% decrease in jobs. Over a quarter of UK workers fear job losses to AI in the next five years, exacerbated by rising costs and taxes impacting hiring.
