British students and young people will be able to study, train and work across the EU again from January after Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy confirmed the UK is rejoining Erasmus+ six years after leaving. Up to £400 million will flow through the British Council, and disadvantaged 18-year-olds may get free rail travel across Europe. Applications are expected to open later this month, the government says.
