UK police arrest two at Palestine protest
AI Generated (Gemini)
Two people were arrested during a pro-Palestinian protest outside Westminster's Ministry of Justice on Wednesday evening for shouting slogans involving calls for 'intifada,' marking the first enforcement of a new policy by Metropolitan and Greater Manchester Police. The arrests for racially aggravated public order offences followed the forces' earlier announcement that they would arrest anyone using phrases like 'globalise the intifada,' citing context changes after recent terror attacks including the Bondi Beach shooting and Manchester synagogue incident.
