UK passengers have rights for delayed, cancelled flights
Under UK law, passengers whose flights are cancelled or significantly delayed are entitled to care and assistance from the airline. This includes reasonable food and drink, communication access, and accommodation with transport if an overnight stay is required. For cancelled flights, passengers can choose a full refund or an alternative flight. Compensation may also be due if the delay is over three hours or a cancellation is within 14 days, and it's the airline's fault.
