UK minister 'horrified' by D-Day migration speech
A UK minister was "horrified" by a US official's D-Day speech, which controversially linked the historic landings to modern European migration. US defence secretary Pete Hegseth made the remarks at the 82nd D-Day anniversary in Normandy, France, accusing Europe of an "invasion" of different ideologies. Justice minister Jake Richards said it was "totally inappropriate and wrong" to make political arguments at such a commemoration.
