UK May Step Into Paramount Warner Bros Deal

British viewers could see extra checks on news and streaming services before the takeover goes ahead. Britain said on Tuesday it may step into Paramount Skydance Corp's proposed $110 billion purchase of Warner Bros Discovery because of concerns about media plurality and on-demand programming. Companies have until July 6 to respond, before any formal intervention decision.
