UK house price growth slowed to 0.1% in July

Economic uncertainty and high interest rates made buyers cautious, slowing UK house price growth to just 0.1% in July. Nationwide reported annual growth dropped to 1.8% from 2.2% in June, with the average home now costing £277,542. The Bank of England cautioned that additional conflict in Iran might lead to inflation exceeding 4% next year.
