UK has 60 flood warnings in place

The Environment Agency and Met Office warn the UK faces ongoing flooding, particularly in southern and central England. Sixty flood warnings and 180 alerts are active in England, plus two alerts in eastern Wales. The ground remains saturated, and floodwaters are receding slowly. In Somerset, 29 square miles of the Levels and Moors are flooded.
