UK grants India larger tariff-free steel quota.

The higher allowance means more Indian steel can enter the UK without paying tariffs under the new trade agreement. Britain and India agreed the change before the trade deal starts on 15 July, easing a dispute over the UK’s steel import rules. The agreement gives Indian exporters a larger tariff-free quota while keeping Britain’s wider steel protection measures in place.
