UK government not ready for future food supply shocks, watchdog warns
Britain's public spending watchdog says the government hasn't done enough to prepare for growing risks to food supplies, like climate change or cyber-attacks. The National Audit Office urged Defra, the food security department, to work more closely with households and businesses to improve resilience. The report found officials have limited input from companies and lack clear plans for local councils.
