UK government invests £1.3bn in Universal park, creates 28,000 jobs.
The UK government is putting £1.3 billion into building a huge new Universal theme park in Bedfordshire, aiming to boost the economy. This massive investment will help create 28,000 jobs, with 20,000 during construction and 8,000 once it opens. Called the Universal United Kingdom Resort, it's expected to open in 2031 and attract millions of visitors.
