UK Government Bets on AI to Speed Drug Discovery

Developing new medicines could become much quicker, bringing hope to people with serious diseases. The UK Government’s Sovereign AI Fund invested in Isomorphic Labs, a British company using AI for drug design, on Tuesday 12 May. This London-headquartered firm, founded by Nobel Prize-winner Sir Demis Hassabis, aims to scale up its work.
