UK exports to America fall to lowest level since 2022

UK exports of goods to the United States dropped by 11.4% (£0.5 billion) in September 2025, marking the lowest level since January 2022. The decline followed the US government’s introduction of a 10% tariff on UK products in April 2025, which was implemented alongside increased tariffs for other countries. In 2023, the US remained the UK’s top export destination, with British goods exports valued at £60.4 billion.
