UK, Canada face new Trump tariffs over forced labour
Sixty countries, including the UK and Canada, could soon face new tariffs from the US over concerns about forced labour. Donald Trump proposed these tariffs, ranging from 10% to 12.5%, after previous court rulings blocked his other trade levies. Jamieson Greer, the US trade representative, called the failure of partners to address forced labour imports unacceptable.
