UK banks get rival AI cyber tool offer

UK banks are still blocked from using a powerful AI tool called Mythos to check their systems for hidden cyber threats. Currently, competitor OpenAI has made its cyber security AI tool, GPT-5.5 Cyber, available to nine prominent UK banks. The AI Security Institute found both tools perform similarly, with Mythos once finding a weakness hidden for nearly 30 years.
