UK and Belgium sign deal to share intelligence on small boat gangs
The UK and Belgium have signed a new agreement to speed up intelligence sharing against criminal gangs behind small boat crossings. The Law Enforcement Cooperation Agreement, signed on Wednesday by Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood and Bernard Quintin, eliminates prior obstacles for information sharing. The agreement will also enhance collaborative investigations and expert training to disrupt migrant smuggling.
