UK adults spent an average of 4 hours and 30 minutes online daily in 2025, marking a 31-minute increase from 2021 pandemic levels, according to Ofcom's Online Nation report. While 91% of children aged 8-17 remain happy with their internet usage, they describe experiencing 'brain rot' from excessive scrolling.
