Uefa prepares criminal complaint against Fifa president over a $4bn World Cup plan
European football leaders asked a Florida court to release private messages between Fifa boss Gianni Infantino and two outside investors. The legal team is investigating a now-cancelled scheme that planned to sell partial rights to the tournament for more than $4bn. Anyone found guilty of criminal mismanagement under Swiss law faces a maximum prison sentence of five years.
