UEFA loses trust in FIFA after World Cup investment plan scrapped

European football's governing body, UEFA, has said it no longer trusts FIFA's leadership, even after FIFA dropped its plan to sell shares in the World Cup. UEFA announced on Thursday that it would boycott FIFA unless the proposal for private investors was withdrawn. FIFA President Gianni Infantino scrapped the plan on Friday, but UEFA still criticised his lack of transparency.
