UEFA boycott of FIFA events still on as Infantino stays president
UEFA says its boycott will continue because FIFA's proposals to sell stakes in the World Cup were not fully withdrawn. FIFA president Gianni Infantino kept his job on Wednesday with the board's "full support" despite apologising for "mistakes". The FA and Wales have also formally withdrawn their backing for Infantino's re-election next year.
