Uber Eats customers in the US will soon have the option to get their food delivered by drone, with orders arriving in 5 to 10 minutes. Uber has partnered with Zipline, a drone startup, and will also invest in the company. Over the longer term, Uber and Zipline are aiming for a joint capacity of one million drone deliveries a day by the end of 2029.
