Two women face slave charges after Syria return
Two Australian women could face up to 25 years in prison for alleged crimes against humanity. Kawsar Ahmad, 53, and her daughter Zeinab Ahmad, 31, were charged in Melbourne on Friday after returning from Syria. Police allege Kawsar Ahmad helped purchase a female slave for US$10,000 in 2014, with both women knowingly keeping her.
