Two men have pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey to National Security Act charges alleging they carried out hostile reconnaissance in London for Iran. Nematollah Shahsavani and Alireza Farasati are accused of surveying the Israeli embassy and consulate, a synagogue and other Jewish and Israeli-linked sites. Prosecutors say the alleged work supported Iranian state interests. A full jury trial is listed for April 2027.
